Pick.Click.Give. Partner
Pick.Click.Give. began in 2008 to encourage individual giving in Alaska. It allows people who file online for their annual Permanent Fund Dividend check to contribute up to the full amount to participating nonprofit organizations. After a successful launch, Pick.Click.Give. has become a permanent component of the PFD program. Foraker is pleased to partner with the Rasmuson Foundation, United Way of Anchorage and the State of Alaska to operate this program.

Foraker Certificate Program
The Foraker Certificate in Nonprofit Management is a program designed for Alaska nonprofit professionals who want to enhance their management skills. This is a non-degree program offering Continuing Education Units (CEU's) and requires 13 days of classroom attendance. The certificate is offered in a cohort model designed to foster a unique learning environment that builds lasting relationships among participants. Students have come from all sectors of the nonprofit community and from throughout the state. Click here for more information on Foraker's Certificate program.
Foraker Connections Fund
All Foraker services are fee-based. While our rates are below market, many organizations still have difficulty affording services. The Foraker Connections Fund supports all nonprofits regardless of their ability to pay. Foraker determines criteria based on our core values and services to determine the best use of these funds.
Sponsorship of this program allows Foraker to:
- Provide services to organizations in rural or remote Alaska without asking them to incur the additional cost of travel
- Encourage people throughout Alaska to participate as members of the Foraker boards
- Provide opportunities to coordinate with existing regional conferences and training
- Create an opportunity for funding partners to focus their philanthropy on strengthening nonprofits within a specific geographic region of Alaska
Leadership Summit
Every two years, Foraker convenes its Leadership Summit to focus on a theme that is relevant to the Alaska nonprofit sector. Our first two summits, in 2008 and 2010, each gathered more than 400 people from all parts of Alaska to hear nationally recognized speakers address current issues. Supporting the Leadership Summit allows us to keep fees low and assist people outside Anchorage with their travel costs. For more information, click here.
