Leadership Summit

Experience two days of learning, sharing, reflecting, and networking.

2 DAYS • 500 OF ALASKA'S NONPROFIT LEADERS • NATIONALLY-RECOGNIZED EXPERTS.
LEARN. COLLABORATE. NETWORK. GROW.

You're invited to the 2019 Leadership Summit, the largest gathering in Alaska of nonprofit leaders. Bring your staff and your board. If you are looking for interactive and engaging sessions that are geared specifically to the needs of nonprofits and will provide strategies you can implement immediately within your organization, this is the event for you. This year, the theme is:

ENERGIZE! ACTIVATE MISSION WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE

Join us on May 2 & 3 for as we explore the "Right People" lens of the Foraker Nonprofit Sustainability Model and discover strategies for building our leadership pipeline.

What do we mean by "Right People"? The "Right People" are those who can use the values and culture of the organization to move mission forward. This lens of the Sustainability Model is about creating a positive and welcoming workplace culture, developing talent, and engaging your staff, board, and volunteers. It is also about the critical relationship between the board and the CEO.

So, who are the right people for your organization? And how do you get them and keep them on your team? We are excited to explore these topics, along with issues like the generational shift in leadership, diversity and inclusion, effective governance, search and transitions, and more.
