ALASKA STATE DIRECTOR for THE WILDERNESS SOCIETY to provide experienced and visionary leader. This position plays a lead role in developing and overseeing implementation of TWS’ projects within the state, engaging a cross-disciplinary team on nationally significant campaigns, and positioning TWS as a trusted collaborator with partners, funders, and decision makers. We are looking for candidates with experience to help cultivate and expand relationships, as well as influence elected officials, media outlets, and opinion leaders on TWS’ work and priorities in the state. The pay range for this position is $120-$130,000 and TWS provides generous health, retirement, and other benefits. The preferred location is Anchorage, other Alaska locations may be considered.
