Position Summary:
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on all Akeela Inc. facilities and vehicles.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
• Perform general maintenance to include but not limited to, basic carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical, painting, flooring repair/replace, counter/cabinet repair and vehicle repair/ maintenance.
• At the direction of the Maintenance Foreman, prioritize and process Maintenance work orders utilizing the MaintainX software, tracking time, assets and materials when needed
• Maintain accountability of agency tools and equipment.
• Conduct monthly physical plant inspections at all company locations.
• At the direction of the Maintenance Foreman, requisition and purchase supplies for facility repairs. Turn in all receipts and invoices with the appropriate paperwork in a timely fashion to direct supervisor.
• Report any health and safety related issues, or issues of concern to your supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality per Akeela policy.
• Keep shop & storage areas clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills-Any Equivalent Combination Of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education & Experience:
• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Experience in a social service setting preferred.
• Experience and skilled in maintenance and repairs
• Able to multitask.
• Able to work independently.
• Good written and verbal communication
