Position Summary:
The Program Manager for Akeela House is responsible for the day-to-day clinical and operational management of the ASAM 3.5 residential program. This role ensures delivery of structured, high-intensity substance use disorder (SUD) treatment services, including integrated co-occurring mental health services. The position focuses on clinical stabilization, engagement, and maintaining a highly structured treatment environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Operations and Execution
· Oversee daily operations of the ASAM 3.5 residential program to ensure structure, consistency, and efficiency.
· Ensure program schedules, group services, and daily routines are implemented as designed.
· Monitor staff assignments, coverage, and daily program flow.
· Identify and address operational issues impacting program delivery.
Clinical and Service Delivery Oversight
· Ensure delivery of structured SUD treatment aligned with ASAM 3.5, including co-occurring services.
· Ensure minimum 20 clinical hours per week per client.
· Monitor engagement, participation, and treatment progress.
· Support clinical decision-making and level of care transitions.
Program Fidelity and ASAM Alignment
· Ensure adherence to ASAM 3.5 requirements and structured programming.
· Monitor clinical hours, group delivery, and treatment expectations.
· Ensure consistency in services and treatment planning.
· Address deviations and implement corrective actions.
Admissions, Referrals, and Program Flow
· Support admissions and intake scheduling with Intake Coordinator.
· Ensure timely admissions appropriate for ASAM 3.5.
· Facilitate step-down transitions to 3.1.
· Identify barriers to engagement and retention.
Staff Supervision and Development
· Supervise clinical and administrative staff.
· Manage scheduling, coverage, and staff expectations.
· Provide coaching and reinforce program standards.
· Support onboarding and training.
Quality, Compliance, and Documentation
· Ensure documentation meets regulatory and payer requirements.
· Monitor treatment plans, services, and compliance.
· Address issues and support corrective actions.

Essential Skills-Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human services, social work or related field preferred.
· Current CDC I, CDC II or CDCS is required.
· Minimum 2 years residential SUD treatment experience required.
· Minimum 2 years supervisory experience required.
· Knowledge of ASAM 3.5 and structured programming.
· Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
· Ability to support co-occurring services within scope.
