Job Description

The Alaska Bar Association is seeking an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented CLE Coordinator & Section Administrator to help plan and deliver professional education programs, conferences, and member activities. The CLE Coordinator & Section Administrator plays an important role in supporting the Alaska Bar Association's Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs, annual convention, member Sections, and other special programs. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the logistics and administration of in-person, virtual, and on-demand continuing education programs and professional programs.  
  • Assist with planning and coordinating the Alaska Bar Association’s annual convention and other special events.  
  • Coordinate Section meetings and provide responsive communication and administrative support to Section chairs and members. 
  • Provide occasional backup support for the front desk and phones and assist with other administrative and organizational projects as needed. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. 
  • Experience coordinating meetings, events, programs, conferences, or similar activities preferred. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail. 
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities. 
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. 
  • Experience with event registration systems, databases, website content management, Zoom or other virtual meeting platforms, Canva, or similar technology is a plus.
