Mountain View Health Services is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer / Director of Finance, Analytics & Sustainability to lead the financial strategy, data analytics, and long-term sustainability of our organization. Reporting to the CEO/Medical Director and working alongside the COO, the CFO is the organization's financial and analytics leader — responsible for the fiscal health, measurement infrastructure, and funding durability of an integrated health practice.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to help reopen and sustain a practice offering primary care, urgent care, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), behavioral health, and maternal child health home-visiting programs backed by a Rural Health Transformation Program grant — and to design the financial model that keeps it viable beyond the grant period.
What You'll Do
Lead financial management — budgeting, forecasting, cash management, financial reporting, and internal controls across the organization and its grant-funded service lines.
Own financial sustainability — develop the long-term financial model, including alternative payment models, public health contracts, and diversified revenue strategies that extend beyond the grant period.
Drive reimbursement strategy — partner with the COO on revenue-cycle performance. Lead our work to explore and develop new Medicaid reimbursement pathways for Community Health Workers and value based payment models.
Build the data and analytics infrastructure — establish baseline measures, data-collection tools, and the reporting systems that support quality improvement and program evaluation.
Lead the evaluation data function — provide the data, cost, and sustainability analytics that underpin the program's evaluation framework.
Strengthen quality and performance data measurement — partner with clinical and operational leaders to turn data into actionable performance insight.
Support grant financial stewardship — ensure sound fiscal administration, reconciliation, and audit readiness in line with federal award requirements.
What We're Looking For
Required
Master's degree (MBA, MHA, or related) and/or CPA.
At least 7 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including direct accountability for organizational budgets, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Experience with healthcare finance, including revenue cycle and payer reimbursement.
Experience managing federal or state grant funds.
Strong background in healthcare analytics, data systems, and program evaluation.
Eligibility to participate in federal programs (not debarred, suspended, or excluded).
Preferred
Experience with Medicaid financing, alternative payment models, or value-based care.
FQHC experience.
Why Join Us
You'll have the opportunity to build the financial and analytic foundation of an innovative, integrated health practice — designing the sustainability model that keeps expanded access to integrated health care services for Mountain View and surrounding areas viable for the long term.
Employment Terms
This is a full-time, exempt, grant-funded position supported by the RHTP federal award. Employment is at-will. MVHS is an equal-opportunity employer.
