And the winners are…
Congratulations to all the winners of our conference awards. Denali Whiting with Kawerak won the photo contest with a beautiful photo from Kotzebue. Erika Chambers with CCS Early Learning won the Whova leaderboard for being the most engaged on the conference platform. Each of them won a Foraker goodie bag that includes a Foraker mug, Focus on Sustainability book, and an hour of free consulting or a free Foraker class.
As for the Conference Spark Award – we ran a version of that picker wheel twice (oops!) so we had two “sparky” people win – Mary Wagner with Providence Alaska Foundation and James Harris with Nine Star Enterprises helped us all to think differently and inspired us with their willingness to share at the conference. After we realized our mistake, we ran the Agility Award picker wheel and Amy Simonds Taylor with Juneau Youth Services won for her ability to navigate the pandemic and to creatively find ways to continue to serve young people. Each of them won a round-trip Alaska Airlines voucher. Congratulations to all!
